Environment:
The Cask 'n Flagon has been at the corner of Brookline Ave and Lansdowne St, right behind Fenway's Green monster, for over 35 years and it is easy to understand why they've been so successful.
Very recently renivated, Cask N Flagon is now close to twice the original size. The unit next door was bought, the wall knocked down, and the place redone. This sports bar has lots of american style food served for lunch and dinner, served either inside or outdoors if you prefer. The main bar here is very large, easily able to fit many avid sports fans. The renivated section now includes another bar area, a large dance floor, and room for a stage that is set up for when bands play. Furthermore, the bathrooms now contain Flat Screen televisions throughout so that not a second of your favorite sport is missed.
Tons of crazed fans, a nice tv layout, plenty of tap and bottled brews, and of course the history make 'The Cask' a must see if your in the Fenway Park area. Food is standard for a sports bar, but is tasty nonetheless. The decor, naturally, consists of RedSox players and games of the past.
Additional Comments:
The history, the crowd, and the booze should be enough to convince you to stop by this hotspot, but if your not a sports fan there is live entertainment on the weekends (come on, ya gotta be a sports fan in Boston).
