This particular Iron hill location brews some of the freshest tasting beer I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. They also offer a fantastic rewards program that equates to more "free" money to spend at any location based on the amount of money spent, frequency of visits, etc. I LOVE THIS PLACE. Vienna Red Lager and the Pig Iron Porter are my year-round favorites while the Hefeweizen, Belgian Rye Ale, and Imperial Stout are my favorite seasonals.

Amongst the best brewers in the area, which is saying something with Troegs, Victory, etc in the area. The food here is fantastic and the beer is fresh and always "in season". Beautiful bar/restaurant located on one of the nicest drags in all of Delco - state street, media. Keep making great beer Iron Hill - we love you!

We stopped in for a few beers today and the experience was the best!
Drank:
- German Roggenbier, which was far more 'summery' than I expected with delicious banana and cloves lingering in the aftertaste.
- Belgian White Ale, very drinkable wheat bear with orange and coriander coming through.
Ate:
Pizza - traditional with half pepperoni...SICK! Love the wood oven.
PROS:The beer is becoming so good here with regard to the seasonal selections that I am having a tough time enjoying the standard beers that iron hill is known for (vienna red lager and iron porter namely).

BEER - FOOD - GREAT SERVICE - JUST ADDED NEW HD TV'S THAT ARE NICE!

Iron Hill has the best microbrews in the area and delicious food - especially the wood-fired oven pizzas. The bar is pretty big with about 15 seats and 8 tables or so. There are always 12 or so beers on tap and they selection of seasonals always changes - the blackboard tells you what is on tap, when it tapped, and what is coming to the taps, and when. The front of the building is all glass so the bar has a lot of natural light which makes it feel more alive. Iron Hill is a thriving franchise and while I love the West Chester location this Media Iron Hill has to be my favorite. From the building itself, the wonderful and award-winning beers, the friendly bartenders/servers, and really good good make this Iron Hill one of the burbs best bars.
PROS:Excellent beer - seasonals always fresh and relevant to current season. Incredible food - pizza is amazing. Beautiful building and location right in downtown Media.
CONS:More expensive then your usual neighborhood bar. Parking is annoying.

Iron Hill is a laid back, open-air restaurant and brewpub with excellent seasonal tap beers to choose from. The winter beers have just made their way to the taps and my wife and I had a few that were interesting. The Maniac Alt Bier was sweet and unique but its got old quick. The Weizen Bock is a nice combination of ale and the classic Iron Hill weizen beers so its thick in appearance but light and fruity as it goes down (after taste is a little bitter). Finally, we had the Pumpkin Ale which really stood out as the best beer in the house. It tasted like pumpkin pie, spieces, and a good amount of hops that make it a really satisfying beer. The food was great, we just went with quesadillas and the tastiest cheesesteak eggrolls. Overall the workers knew a lot about their beers as far as taste, appearance, and state and national accolades that different house brews have won over the years and I recommend Iron Hill to anyone who likes handcrafted beers, good food, or just a laid back environment to chill with friends.

Iron Hill has a great beer assortment that anyone who likes a hand crafted brew will enjoy. Tonight I had "Rudolph's Revenge" which was a hoppy, experimental holiday seasonal beer that was strong as hell but a great starter (9.5%ABV). Next I moved on to the "Abbaye Dubbel" Belgian which was a little less strong (7/5%ABV) and less hoppy, but darker with that classic fruity aftertaste that makes it a Belgian brew. Finally, I had (a couple actually) "Vienna Red Ale" which was as smooth as it was refreshing and I had to recommend that to any beer enthusiast out there. There were also a handful of porters, stouts, lagers, ales, and lite beers that were brewed on premise so all in all there were probably about 10 on tap. They were also all available to go in growlers that usually stay good for a day or two. The food was pretty good also and our bill was only 60 bucks for the two of us so I have no complaints.
PROS:Great Beer, seasonal beer, quick service, reasonable prices, laid back environment.
CONS:Annoying Media "BigShots" who talk to loud and are really bring nothing to the happy hour scene (I am really calling out a group there tonight, I think it is usually laid back with sophisticated peeople)
