Everything is very laid back with music playing over conversations, groups cheering for sports on one of the several tv's, and the standard bar chaos. The promotions through Mcfadden's separate them from the rest because of the quality of personalities they draw and the great specials. The crowds are young and middle aged usually with a decent ratio of girls to guys. During happy hour, especially on Fridays, the bar gets rocking which is always fun. Overall, Mcfadden's is a stylish Irish establishment with a little taste of everything. Comments 9.25 Add Comment This has to be one of the best bars in all of Philly, at least I think so. There are alwasy drink specials and entertainment promotions that make drinking even more fun than usual. There are a bunch of tv's, fast and funny bartenders (some are real hot), and the crowd makes it the place to be on a friday for happy hr, or a saturday night. Drinks are cold and plentiful, and the servers can pour a nice mixed drink. McFadden's is a chain of bars that Ive been to in a couple cities, including the one at the Phillies ballpark, but this should be their unofficial headquarters bc it straight-up rocks! 12/13/2007 3:50:17 PM
