Band/DJ Information

Music Style:
    Band: Yes
    Price Range: Unknown
Environment:†Mix together teen angst, heartbreak, and the average stresses of every day life and you will start to get an idea of some of the subjects brought to life in Missing Point‚??s music. Formed in 2004, MP includes vocalist/guitarist Josh Cabrera, guitarist Tom Calabrese, and drummer Bill Breitwieser. This band means the world to these guys, and they will be the first to tell you that. After playing bars and some various other shows throughout northern New Jersey the guys quickly wanted to head into the studio. They did so in November 2004 but turned up empty handed and frustrated. They continued playing shows and writing songs until May when the guys sat down to discuss future endeavors. This led the band to go on hiatus for the summer only to regroup and come back stronger than ever. While on hiatus the guys finished up their EP "Come Back Down", picking three songs that they thought would show how Missing Point started and where they want to go with it. The opening song "Miss You" is an emotionally driven, catchy pop song which takes place after a relationship has taken a turn for the worse. The closing song "Stale" on the other hand, is very dark and shows a different, edgier side of the band. This band wants nothing more than to make amazing music and expose it to the masses. They are constantly evolving and are always looking for shows to play. They want to be in this for the long haul. Each person in this band has a role to play, and when they‚??re all in the same room with instruments in hand something special will come out, and someone somewhere will understand what they‚??re doing and appreciate it.
