Band/DJ Information

Music Style:
    Band: Yes
    Price Range: Unknown
Environment: The members of High Like Five formed in the Fall of 2004. The members met in college, all from different parts of California, with different musical backgrounds. High Like Five has played with national acts such as Pepper, Blackalicious, Tyrone Wells, and Die Trying. They have performed at venues such as Slim's of San Francisco, The Knitting Factory in Hollywood, The Elbow Room, Blake's on Telegraph, The Metro, and the Roxy just to name a few. The members of the Band are Hector Zaragoza, on lead vocals and rhythm giutar, Darius Moghadam, backing vocals and lead guitar, Seph Patterson, Bass, and Nick Carr, drums. The band meets in the middle between pop punk rock influences, and the blues that drove classic rock. In April 2007 they recorded there first album at Killingsworth Studios in Hollywood California. Produced by Tomas Costanza, the record entitled "Adverbs and Pronouns" speaks of good times, and real life adolescent issues that would appeal to a wide audience. Their image reflects that of clean cut, hard working boys. All members of High Like Five, attended Saint Mary's College of California on academic scholarships. The band would like to come into their own in the near future, actively touring and spreading the sound of music even your mom would like.
