    Environment: Formed in 2000 by singer/songwriter/guitar player, Clay Guccione in San Diego as a home recording studio project, after purchasing a vintage drum kit, and spending a grip of dough on musical equipment via bank loans and credit cards. Losing interest in everything else, but music (and Art of course)â?? Clay recorded 2 CDs which got some college radio airplay. Early Dolphin, Self Titled, and To the Point That I Love You. CD singles. In 2002, relocated from Orange County to Los Angeles for the 3rd time to attend school, at the Art Center College of Design (on bank loans and credit cards), in Pasadena. The Band is formed with like-minded visual artists and design classmates. Recorded more tracks with Michael Myers from Phoenix Arizona, Bass guitar, and non-classmate LA drum veteran, Aaron Sperske (x-Lillys/beachwwod sparks). Months later Early Dolphin hit the stage Playing Spaceland in Silverlake every Sunday for 2 months at the Winter Garden Music, and Springtime Suites, a collaborative 'folk night' at Spaceland. Frequently changing drummers, sometimes performing solo with bongo drum samples and wurli overdubs and acoustic guitarâ??Clay said nufs-a-nuf, and decided to perform no bells and whistlesâ?? either with a band, or alone with an acoustic guitar (no machines). Finding their sound through a rollercoaster of rock 'n' roll experiences and numerous guitar and amplifier swaps, Early Dolphin set their goals straight and recorded their debut full length Swimâ?¦
