:: June 14, 2008 - Huntington Beach Beer Pong Tournament

June 14, 2008 BarFinder.com ran a Beer Pong tournament at the Atlanta Lounge in Huntington Beach. It was a great day. 31 teams came out for this event and played their hearts out. We want to thank everyone who came out to play and hope everyone had a great time.

31 teams came out to play, all competing for the $500 grand prize. The teams dueled it out in a double elimination tournament. Wet Bandits from SCBP took home the $500 prize after going undefeated for the day.

THE BRACKET

The Wet Bandits went through the tournament undefeated. They had some close matches but managed to hang on no matter what. Shear Brilliance and Scott and Boston were on tears most of the tournament as well. Both teams suffered their first loss at the hands of the Wet Bandits in consecutive rounds. This led to the final loser bracket match to see who would get a shot at redemption against the team responsible for sending them there. Shear Brilliance closed the doors on Scott and Boston giving them a chance to face the Wet Bandits again and take the grand prize. Scott and Boston took 3rd place and got a pair of Tees.

CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

Shear Brilliance started strong and it looked like they were going to take the first match against the Wet Bandits but they didn't. The Wet Bandits struck again, claiming the $500 prize for the themselves and proudly representing SCBP by doing so. Congrats!
